How do you Spell Chain Mail?

I know it may sound like a weird topic, but there seem to be more than one way to spell chain(your version here). Here is a word so central to the chain jewelry making art form, yet I have be unable to determine the correct spelling. Many of the diehard chainmaille makers, looking to recreate the armour prominent throughout the Dark Ages, High Middle Ages and Renaissance use the spelling maille, both as chainmaille and chain maille. I tend to use the that spelling, but after doing a little research, the majority of people interested in making jewelry using jump rings use the spelling chain mail, followed closely with chainmail.

What words do you use to search for jump rings and jumpring jewelry patterns?
