Ladder Bracelet Supplies - This project is very versatile and by changing the jump ring sizes, you can create many looks and textures.Varying jump ring sizes can be used. This example uses 16ga 12mm ID and 18ga 3.0mm ID.
This project uses the following size jump rings.

STEP 1: The Starter
This example uses 16ga 12mm ID jump rings (large) and 18ga 3.0mm ID jump rings (small). For ease, close all of the small jump rings, In most cases you will be opening and closing the large rings.

STEP 2: Add Two Small
Close two small jump rings. Open the large jump ring and add two small rings
|
|
|
|
STEP 3: Add the Clasp
This chain can disassemble itself unless one end is secured. You can use any type of clasp, in this case we chose a ring and toggle clasp.

|
STEP 4: Add a Large Ring
Open a large ring and insert it through the two small rings at the end.
|
|
|
|
STEP 5: Flip on Top
Like turning a page in a book, flip the last large ring so it sits on top of the previous ring.

|
|
STEP 6: Separate
Using an Awl, separate the two small rings to make an opening.
|
|
|
|
STEP 7: The Slide
Slide the large ring on top from left to right.
|
|
|
|
STEP 8: And Repeat
This is same procedure as Step 2.
Close two small rings. Open the large ring and add them.

STEP 9: Add Two New cont.
Your chain should look like this.

STEP 10: Add a Large Ring
Open a large ring and insert it through the two small rings at the end.

|
|
STEP 11: The Flip
Flip the last large ring over the previous ring, like turning the page of a book. |

|
|
STEP 12: Separate the Small Rings
Using an Awl, separate the two small rings to make an opening.
|
|
|
|
STEP 13: The Slide
Slide the large ring on top from left to right.
Continue adding links to the chain to reach the desired length.
